Other Events

On April 12, 2017, General Communication, Inc. ("GCI") issued a press release announcing that its wholly owned subsidiary, GCI, Inc. is soliciting consents from the holders of its outstanding 6.75% Senior Notes due 2021
and 6.875% Senior Notes due 2025 (together, the "Notes") to effect certain amendments to the indentures governing the Notes. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
