On April 11, 2017, La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company (the "Company") made available on its website a copy of its investor presentation that includes an update on the Company's financial position to reflect its public offering of common stock announced March 20, 2017 and further background on its Phase 3 study of LJPC-501. A copy of this presentation is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1. The fact that this presentation is being made available and filed herewith should not be deemed an admission as to the materiality of any information contained in the materials.
