On March 16, 2017, Ronald L. Piasecki informed Sun Communities, Inc. (the “Company”) that he will retire as a member of the Company’s board of directors upon the expiration of his current term pursuant to the board's age-based retirement policy. Mr. Piasecki’s current term expires on May 18, 2017, the date of the Company’s 2017 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Mr. Piasecki advised the Company that his decision to retire was not the result of any disagreement with the Company on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
