On March 16, 2017, Farmers National Banc Corp. (the “Company”) issued two press releases announcing a new nominee for election to its Board of Directors, Edward W. Muransky, and the impending retirement from its Board of Directors of Howard J. Wenger at the expiration of his term at the Company’s annual shareholder meeting on April 20, 2017.
Copies of press releases are attached hereto as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 and incorporated herein by reference. The press releases are furnished herein, as part of this Item 7.01, as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2.
