The Current Report on Form 8-K filed by PacWest Bancorp on December 13, 2016 is amended as set forth below.

Effective February 13, 2017, Bart R. Olson assumed the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of PacWest Bancorp (the “Company”) and the Company’s wholly-owned bank subsidiary, Pacific Western Bank. The Company Board of Directors has designated Mr. Olson as the Company’s “principal accounting officer” for purposes of filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, effective March 1, 2017.
