On February 10, 2017, EMC Insurance Group Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release reporting its earnings for the fourth quarter and twelve months ended December 31, 2016, and announcing non-GAAP operating income guidance for 2017. The Company also announced that management will be participating at industry conferences. Mark E. Reese, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer will participate in the RBC Capital Markets Financial Institutions Conference in New York on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Additionally, Mr. Bruce G. Kelley, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Kevin J. Hovick, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will be presenting at the 21st Annual New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) Insurance Conference in New York on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 11:20 a.m. Eastern time. A teleconference was conducted in conjunction with the press release. The press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.
