Item 8.01. Other Events.
On January 24, 2017, the Board of Directors of Yadkin Financial Corporation ("the Company") declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share of its outstanding unrestricted common stock. The dividend is payable on or after February 16, 2017 to shareholders of record as of February 9, 2017. A press release announcing the details of the dividend declaration is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
