Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 19, 2017, Julia C. Kahr informed Summit Materials, Inc. (the “Company”) that she intends to resign from the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”), effective as of the close of business on February 28, 2017. Ms. Kahr’s decision to resign from the Board does not involve any disagreement on any matter relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. Ms. Kahr is a Senior Managing Director at The Blackstone Group L.P., which in November 2016 sold its remaining equity interest in the Company.
