Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(d) Election of Directors.

In a Current Report on Form 8-K dated August 30, 2016, the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York ("FHLBNY") reported the election to the FHLBNY’s Board of Directors ("Board"), for a term beginning on January 1, 2017, of current Director Mr. Jay M. Ford; later in the year, in a Current Report on Form 8-K dated November 4, 2016, the FHLBNY reported the election to the FHLBNY’s Board, for terms beginning on January 1, 2017, of current Directors Ms. Cathleen Raffaeli, Rev. Edwin Reed and Mr. Monte Redman, and new Director Mr. Kenneth Mahon. At the time of the filing of the aforementioned Form 8-Ks, the Committees of the Board to which Directors would be named for 2017 had not yet been determined. The FHLBNY is filing this Form 8-K/A to report Board Committee assignments for 2017.

On December 15, 2016, the Board, in addition to electing current Director Mr. James Fulmer to serve once again as the Board Vice Chair for a term commencing January 1, 2017, approved the following Committee assignments for all Directors for 2017:
