On December 9, 2016, First Foundation Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of First Foundation Inc. (the “Company”), completed its previously announced acquisition of two branches located in Laguna Hills and Seal Beach, California, from Pacific Western Bank (the “Transaction”). As a result of the Transaction, First Foundation Bank acquired approximately $180 million of deposits. No loans were included in the Transaction.
The Company issued a press release on December 12, 2016, announcing the completion of the Transaction. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
