In response to recent press coverage, the company noted, "As previously stated, First NBC is considering all strategic options, including a possible sale of the company. The company has made no decision to pursue or forgo any particular option. First NBC does not intend to comment further unless and until a definitive transaction is achieved. First NBC remains committed to its local market and to serving the financial services needs of its customers"
