On November 2, 2016, American International Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release reporting its results for the three- and nine-month periods ended September 30, 2016. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.

On November 2, 2016, the Company issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared a cash dividend on its common stock, par value $2.50 per share (“AIG Common Stock”), of $0.32 per share and authorized the repurchase of additional shares of AIG Common Stock. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
