Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 27, 2016, Tyrone J. Gollott retired from the Board of Directors of The Peoples Bank, Biloxi, Mississippi (the “Bank”). The Bank is wholly-owned subsidiary of Peoples Financial Corporation (the “Company”). The Company issued a press release announcing Mr. Gollott’s retirement on October 28, 2016.
