Item 8.01. Other Events
On October 25, 2016, the Board of Directors of Charter Financial Corporation declared an increased quarterly cash dividend of $0.055 per share. The dividend is payable on November 22, 2016, to stockholders of record as of November 10, 2016. A press release announcing the details of the declaration is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
