On October 20, 2016, Inspyr Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Officer recently issued patent 9,446,141 B2 “Methods of Producing Cancer Compounds.” A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.01.
