Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 27 and 28, 2016, CSI Compressco LP, a Delaware limited partnership (the “Partnership”), repurchased on the open market and retired $54.07 million principal amount of its 7.25% Senior Notes due August 15, 2022 (the “Senior Notes”) for a purchase price of $50.9 million, at an average repurchase price of 94.1% of the principal amount of such Senior Notes, plus accrued interest, utilizing a portion of the net proceeds of its sales of Series A Preferred Units in August and September of 2016.
