Item 8.01 Other Events.
On September 26, 2016, Kite Pharma, Inc. (“Kite”) issued a press release announcing positive topline results from a pre-planned interim analysis of ZUMA-1 for its lead product candidate, KTE-C19, in patients with chemorefractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The full text of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
