On August 15, 2016, Akoustis Technologies, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has signed multiple non-exclusive collaborative business agreements with a Chinese tier one RF front end module manufacturer. A copy of the press release is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
