Item 2.05          Costs Associated with Exit or Disposal Activities
On August 2, 2016, Performance Sports Group Ltd (the “Company”), announced additional corporate restructuring activities which will result in the reduction of its workforce across several areas and levels of the organization.
As a result of these activities, 38 employees, including the Company’s Executive Vice President, New Business Development & Corporate Strategy and Executive Vice President, Marketing, have been informed of their termination.  Upon the completion of this restructuring and in combination with the consolidation of its baseball/softball segment announced on July 21, Performance Sports Group will have reduced its workforce by 15% since the close of its Fiscal Year 2016 on May 31.
The Company currently expects this latest corporate restructuring to result in the incurrence of estimated pre-tax cash expenses of approximately $2.8 million in severance expenses; an estimated savings of $4.8 million during fiscal 2017; and an annualized savings of approximately $5.9 million. The Company currently expects that the expenses and charges related to the corporate restructuring will occur and be completed in the Company’s first half of fiscal 2017.
