Item 8.01. Other Events.
On July 29, 2016, SkyPeople Fruit Juice, Inc. (the "Company") received a written notification from the NASDAQ Stock Market Listing Qualifications Staff indicating that the Company has regained compliance with the minimum market value of publicly held shares (“MVPHS”) of $5,000,000 requirement for continued listing on the NASDAQ Global Market pursuant to NASDAQ Listing Rule 5450(b)(1)(C) (the “MVPHS Requirement”) and that the matter is now closed.
The minimum market value of publicly held shares of the Company’s common stock has been at $5,000,000 or greater for at least 10 consecutive business days. Accordingly, the Company has regained compliance with the MVPHS Requirement.
