On August 1, 2016, EyeGate Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing positive data from its Phase 1b/2a trial assessing its lead product candidate, iontophoretic EGP-437, in the treatment of post-operative ocular inflammation and pain in cataract surgery patients. A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
