Item 7.01 - Regulation FD Disclosure
On July 21, 2016, General Communication, Inc.'s (“GCI”) Chief Executive Officer, Ronald Duncan, announced to employees plans to reduce GCI's 2017 annual Alaska capital expenditure budget by 20% to 25% of the 2016 target of $210 million. This reduction is due substantially to the continued uncertainty of the ability of the State of Alaska to adopt and implement a workable long-term fiscal plan.
