Resignation of Director
On July 19, 2016, Anthony R. Melman resigned from the Board of Directors of Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (the “Company”) and Canadian Pacific Railway Company, effective as of close of business on July 19, 2016. Dr. Melman has been a member of the Board since 2012 and was Chair of the Finance Committee and a member of the Audit Committee of the Board. Dr. Melman’s decision to resign was not as a result of any disagreement with the Company.
A copy of the press release announcing the resignation of Dr. Melman is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8- K.
