Item 8.01                   Other Events.

On July 18, 2016, TEL Offshore Trust (the “Trust”) issued a press release announcing that there will be no trust distribution for the second quarter of 2016 and providing an update on future distributions and the previously disclosed probate proceeding initiated by the trustees of the Trust.  The press release is attached to this Current Report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
