Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 15, 2016, Bear State Financial, Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors authorized a $0.025 cash dividend per share to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 1, 2016 and payable on August 15, 2016. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto, and is incorporated by reference herein.
