On July 6, 2016, Carrie L. Tolstedt notified Wells Fargo & Company (the “Company”) of her decision to retire as Senior Executive Vice President (Community Banking) of the Company, effective on July 31, 2016. Ms. Tolstedt is expected to remain as an employee of the Company until December 31, 2016.
The Company’s news release announcing Ms. Tolstedt’s retirement is attached to this report as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference into this Item 5.02.
