On July 11, 2016, Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Lisa Bright will transition from her position as Chief Commercial and Corporate Affairs Officer and become President, International, effective immediately. The transition is being effected to provide additional focus to the Company’s growing international operations and its plans to seek marketing approval for obeticholic acid in primary biliary cholangitis in target markets outside of the United States, starting with Europe in late 2016.
