(b) On Thursday, June 30, 2016, Greg Lea, the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of EnteroMedics, Inc. (the “Company”), informed Dan Gladney, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, that he intends to retire and leave his position with the Company effective as of October 1, 2016 and will work with the Company to insure an orderly transition.
