On June 17, 2016, Omega Protein Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release containing a statement in response to reports from Institutional Shareholder Services and Glass, Lewis & Co. relating to the election of directors to the Company’s Board of Directors at the Company’s upcoming June 28, 2016 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. A copy of that press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference.
