On June 16, 2016, Village Bank and Trust Financial Corp. issued a press release announcing the sale of its former headquarters building at the Watkins Centre and the termination of a Memorandum of Understanding between its wholly owned subsidiary bank, Village Bank, and its regulators. A copy of the press release is being furnished as an exhibit to this report and shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose.
