Item 8.01 Other Events
On June 15, 2016, Shore Bancshares Inc., received approval by the State of Maryland and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve to merge its two subsidiary banks, The Talbot Bank of Easton Maryland and CNB, headquartered in Centreville, Maryland, into one bank that will be known as Shore United Bank.
A copy of the press release issued by Shore Bancshares Inc. on June 16, 2016 is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
