Item 8.01.Other Events.
On June 16, 2016, Embassy Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company of Embassy Bank for the Lehigh Valley, issued a press release announcing that the Board of Directors declared an annual cash dividend of $0.13 per share, payable on October 3, 2016, to shareholders of record on September 1, 2016.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
