Item 8.01. Other Events.
On June 14, 2016, Jefferson Gulf Coast Energy Partners (“Jefferson”), a subsidiary of Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure Investors LLC (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing Jefferson’s formation of a joint venture to construct and operate an intermodal export and import fuels terminal at its existing Beaumont, Texas terminal.
The full text of the press release is included in Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
