Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On June 7, 2016, Union Pacific Corporation (the Company) named Rhonda S. Ferguson, Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, effective as of July 11, 2016. Ms. Ferguson most recently served as Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Chief Ethics Officer for FirstEnergy Corp. The Company issued a press release regarding the appointment of Ms. Ferguson which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
