CALPINE REPORTS PJM AUCTION RESULTS
PJM recently completed its 2019/2020 base residual auction. Calpine Corporation (“Calpine” or the “Company”) cleared a total of 4,576 MW in PJM’s 2019/2020 base residual auction, all of which cleared as Capacity Performance (CP) product. Based on these results, Calpine expects PJM capacity revenues of approximately $209 million for the 2019/2020 planning year.
The table below provides a detailed description of the 2019/2020 results, as well as Calpine's expected PJM capacity revenues by calendar year.
