Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 19, 2016, Mediacom Broadband LLC repaid the entire $245.6 million balance of Term Loan I under its existing bank credit facility, which was scheduled to mature on June 30, 2017. This repayment was funded by borrowings of $170.6 million under Mediacom Broadband LLC’s existing revolving credit facility and a cash contribution of $75.0 million received on May 19, 2016 from Mediacom Broadband LLC’s parent, Mediacom Communications Corporation (“MCC”). MCC received the cash contribution of $75.0 million from Mediacom LLC, another wholly-owned subsidiary of MCC, on the aforementioned date.
