Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure
On May 18, 2016, PetroQuest Energy, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that on May 18, 2016 (i) the Company’s board of directors and stockholders approved a reverse stock split (the “Reverse Stock Split”) and (ii) the Company’s board of directors approved the final ratio of the Reverse Stock Split. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
In accordance with General Instruction B.2 of Form 8-K, the information set forth in the attached Exhibit 99.1 is deemed to be “furnished” and shall not be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
