Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective May 12, 2016, Michael E. Hufnagel, Vice President of Corporate Finance was appointed Principal Accounting Officer for AVX Corporation. Mr. Hufnagel replaces Kurt P. Cummings in this role. Mr. Cummings, the Company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary, remains as the Company’s Principal Financial Officer. Mr. Hufnagel has been Vice President of Corporate Finance since April 2016. Prior to that he served as the Company’s Director of Accounting and Reporting since June 2002.
