Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On May 12, 2016, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company ("Goodyear") named Evan M. Scocos as Vice President and Controller, effective June 1, 2016. Mr. Scocos succeeds Richard J. Noechel, who will become Senior Vice President, Business Transformation, also effective June 1, 2016.
Mr. Scocos, 45, has been Vice President and General Auditor since March 2014. Previously, he was Vice President and Assistant Controller from May 2013 to March 2014 and was Controller, North American Tire, from May 2007 to April 2013.
Mr. Scocos will continue to participate in Goodyear's Performance Recognition Plan and Performance Plan, as well as the other benefit plans and programs that generally are available to Goodyear's executive officers and associates.
