Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 12, 2016, Synthesis Energy Systems, Inc. received notification from The NASDAQ Stock Market that it has regained compliance to maintain the listing of its common stock on the NASDAQ Global Market as a result of the closing bid price of its common stock.
