Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 12, 2016, Education Realty Trust, Inc. (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing an update on the Company's leasing progress for the 2016/2017 lease year in conjunction with presentations being made this week at the Interface Student Housing Conference in Austin, Texas.
Copies of the preleasing statistics and press release are attached as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2, respectively, to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
