On April 11, 2016, Norfolk Southern Corporation (“NS”) issued a press release commenting on Canadian Pacific’s withdrawal of its proposal to acquire the company and related shareholder resolution. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
