Item 8.01.  Other Events

On April 8, 2016, Liberty Media Corporation (the “Company”) announced that its President and Chief Executive Officer, Greg Maffei, will host a conference call to discuss results for the first quarter of 2016 on Monday, May 9th, at 11:30 a.m. (E.S.T.).  Following prepared remarks, the Company will host a brief Q&A session during which management will accept questions regarding both the Company and Liberty Broadband Corporation.  During the call, Mr. Maffei may discuss the financial performance and outlook of both companies,  the proposed creation of the Liberty Braves Group tracking stock, the Liberty SiriusXM Group tracking stock and the Liberty Media Group tracking stock,  as well as other forward looking matters.
