Effective April 1, 2016, the board of directors of General Cable Corporation appointed Leonard R. Texter as the Company’s principal accounting officer. Mr. Texter has served as the Company’s Global Controller since March 2015 and its Senior Vice President of Finance since March 2016. Prior to being named Global Controller in March 2015, Mr. Texter held various roles of increasing responsibility at the Company, including manager of external reporting, assistant controller, director of investor relations, and vice president of investor relations. Brian J. Robinson, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, had been serving as the Company’s principal accounting officer prior to Mr. Texter’s appointment as the principal accounting officer.
