Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco (Bank) has entered into settlement agreements with certain defendants in connection with the Bank’s private-label mortgage-backed securities litigation for the gross aggregate settlement amount of $265 million, resulting in a gain of $211 million (after netting certain legal fees and expenses and, with respect to certain claims, excluding an additional amount that is subject to the outcome of potential future events). The Bank’s litigation continues against various dealers and underwriters. For additional information on the litigation, see “Part I. Item 3. Legal Proceedings” in the Bank’s Annual Report on Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2015.
