Item 5.07. Submission of Matters to a Vote of Security Holders.
On March 29, 2016, First Busey Corporation ("First Busey") held a special meeting of stockholders in Champaign, Illinois, to approve the Agreement and Plan of Merger, dated as of December 3, 2015, between First Busey and Pulaski Financial Corp. ("Pulaski"), pursuant to which Pulaski will merge with and into First Busey, and the transactions contemplated therein, including the issuance of First Busey common stock in connection with the merger.
The proposal was approved by the stockholders by the following vote:

Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 30, 2016, First Busey and Pulaski issued a joint press release announcing that each company's stockholders had approved the merger of Pulaski with and into First Busey. A copy of the joint press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
