Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 15, 2016, Entergy New Orleans, Inc. (the “Company”) entered into an Underwriting Agreement for the sale of $110,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its First Mortgage Bonds, 5.50% Series due April 1, 2066 (the “Bonds”). The sale of the Bonds closed on March 22, 2016. The Bonds were registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, by means of the Company’s Registration Statement on Form S-3 (File No. 333-190911-05), as amended by Post-Effective Amendments Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, which such Registration Statement became effective automatically upon its filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
