Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On March 16, 2016, Indianapolis Power & Light Company (“IPL”), a subsidiary of The AES Corporation and the principal subsidiary of IPALCO Enterprises, Inc., issued a press release announcing that IPL received an approved rate increase order on March 16, 2016 from the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (the “IURC”). The order is publicly available on the IURC’s website, www.in.gov/iurc/. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
