Item 8.01 Other Events
On March 7, 2016, the Board of Directors of Territorial Bancorp Inc. announced a seventh stock repurchase program. Under the repurchase program, the Company may repurchase up to 275,000 shares of its common stock, or approximately 3% of the current outstanding shares. A copy of the press release announcing the stock repurchase program is attached as Exhibit 99 to this report.
