On March 1, 2016, Dr. Robert F. Bruner informed Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to retire from the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) at the conclusion of his current term as a director, which will be April 29, 2016. Dr. Bruner’s decision to retire did not result from any disagreement with the Company on any matter.
